Why does the moving service price require detailed information?
Two flats with the same number of rooms can require very different amounts of working time. The price is changed by the amount of belongings, furniture sizes, floors, lift capacity, distance to transport, required dismantling and the number of stops.
Therefore, the most accurate quote comes from full addresses, an inventory of items, photographs and an access description. The hourly rates indicated are a starting guide; before booking, you will receive a quote prepared for the specific order with itemised positions.
What does the service include?
We tailor the scope of work to the specific situation. Before confirming an order, we agree on the addresses, the number of people, transport and any additional work.
Transport
The price depends on the vehicle size, route, mileage, stops and waiting time.
Number of movers
More people cost more per hour, but a large volume can reduce the overall duration of the work.
Opening hours
Carrying, loading, transport, unloading, assembly and other agreed work.
Stairs and lift
Narrow stairs, a small lift or a long carry to the transport can significantly prolong the work.
Packing
Materials and packing work are calculated based on the quantity and complexity of the items.
Additional services
Furniture dismantling, assembly and non-standard items are included only after evaluation.
Hourly rate work
Suitable for local transport and situations where the volume of work can be reasonably assessed from the list and photos.
- Vehicle with Driver
- Transport with movers
- Minimum time after offer
- Extra time beyond the agreed tariff
Individual offers
Suitable for intercity, international, large or complex orders.
- Fixed or combined calculation
- Route and mileage
- Non-standard items
- Multiple addresses
How to compare removal quotes?
Check how many people and what transport are included, from what moment the time is counted, what the minimum order is and how extra time is calculated. A cheaper hourly rate does not always mean a lower total price.
Find out whether fuel, mileage, parking, loading, unloading, packing materials, assembly and additional stops are included in the price. PROMOVE.LV tailors its offer to the specific job; the included items should be assessed based on the written offer.
If the volume of items increases after order confirmation, an additional address, unplanned stairs or assembly appears, the required time and price may change. Changes must be reported as early as possible.

Travel costs depend on the route, mileage and transport. We provide the calculation in the individual offer.
Stands and carrying distance
Stairs, a small lift or a long carry to the transport can extend the working time and require a larger team.
Additional addresses
Multiple loading or unloading locations, as well as unplanned stops, can alter the route and the duration of the work.
Parking and access
If paid parking, a permit or special access organisation is required, the actual costs will be clarified in advance.
Packing and assembly
Materials, furniture dismantling, assembly and packing work are calculated according to the volume, if this is not included in the quotation.
Heavy and non-standard items
For pianos, safes, equipment and other heavy items, the price is determined by weight, dimensions, access and the necessary equipment.

Frequently asked questions
The most important answers before applying for the service.
Is the price per hour or for the whole job?
The calculation method depends on the order. For local jobs, an hourly rate can be used, but for longer or more complex routes, an individual quotation.
Do the indicated prices include VAT?
The rates of €45 and €65 are quoted exclusive of VAT. For private individuals, the final prices including 21% VAT are €54.45 per hour and €78.65 per hour respectively.
Is there a minimum order time?
The minimum duration and payment terms are stated in the specific offer prior to booking.
What happens if the work takes longer?
Additional time is calculated according to the rate or conditions specified in the quote. Therefore, it is important to state the full volume of belongings in advance.

Noteikti iesaku.
