For an item to be assembled, transport alone is not enough
The main question is not just whether the item fits in the van. You need to check whether it can be safely lifted, turned in the stairwell, carried through doorways, moved across the flooring and placed at the destination. Therefore, the exact weight and the dimensions of the tightest spots are an essential part of the order.
PROMOVE.LV assesses the relocation of safes, solid wood furniture, domestic or professional appliances, equipment and other non-standard items. If specialised lifting equipment, dismantling of structures or uncontrollable risks are involved, the standard removal service may not be suitable.

Pre-work safety assessment
Find out the actual weight from the manufacturer's documentation, technical plate or another reliable source. A rough guess can lead to an incorrect number of people and transport choice.
Number all doors, the lift, flights of stairs and turns. Take photos and videos from a sufficient distance so that the entire route of movement is visible, not just the item itself.
Inform about floor or wall fixings, protruding parts, wheels, removable elements, and sensitive mechanisms. Dismantling and the disconnection of electricity or plumbing are not automatically included.

Can you move any heavy object?
No. We approve the work after evaluating the risk, weight, access and required equipment.
Why is an approximate weight not enough?
A difference of a few tens of kilograms can change the number of people needed, the method of work, and whether the item can be safely moved at all.
Do you carry safes up the stairs?
We assess the feasibility based on exact weight, dimensions, stair construction, turns and the number of people.
Do you move pianos?
We assess such orders individually based on the type of instrument, weight, number of floors and access.
Can an item be moved within the boundaries of just one room?
Yes, if the route of movement is described and the work can be carried out safely.
Does the price include dismantling or disconnection of connections?
Only if specifically agreed. Structural, electrical and plumbing work are not automatically included.
